Hi! I am a first time puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. I already have people asking me tons of questions about it, so I figured I would just start a blog to share my experience.
I got my little black lab, Willy, via Puppy Truck on May 5, 2012. He was born on March 1, so as of Thursday he will be 11 weeks old. He is ginormous for his age. His head and paws are HUGE! I've only had him for a little over a week, but he is already sitting on command and is pretty good at recall ("come"). He is quickly catching on to the potty training. He is a real sweetheart, he loves to cuddle.
